LE STUDIO is a creative space at the heart of Lac 2, Tunis, where ideas come to life. More than a production house, we are a partner in shaping stories that inspire, connect, and transform. ILYES GAIDI

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Ilyes Gaidi, 39, is a visionary director, award-winning visual artist, and committed human rights activist. As the founder of Gaidi Bros, the company behind LE STUDIO (lestudio.tn), he leads a creative production studio that transforms ideas into impactful films, visuals, and multimedia projects.

With extensive experience in advocacy and program management, Ilyes trains and mentors partners, young journalists, and aspiring filmmakers through hands-on workshops in journalism, video production, and multimedia storytelling. His approach combines technical skill-building with the cultivation of creative vision and socially conscious storytelling.

As a director and visual artist, Ilyes has earned multiple accolades for his work. He was named Photojournalist of the Year in 2015 and won the FIFAK Photography Competition in 2017, establishing his reputation as a leading visual storyteller. His cinematic expertise allows him to create films, documentaries, and visual projects that are both artistically compelling and socially relevant.

Ilyes’ dual expertise—as a human rights professional and visual artist—enables him to bridge the worlds of art, activism, and media. Every project he undertakes is guided by a commitment to inspire, engage, and mobilize audiences, using storytelling as a tool for awareness, education, and positive social change.

Driven by a vision of creativity as a catalyst for impact, Ilyes continuously seeks to push the boundaries of visual storytelling. He believes that film, photography, and multimedia content can be powerful instruments to amplify voices, highlight untold stories, and foster dialogue across communities. Through LE STUDIO, he leads a team dedicated to combining technical excellence with bold artistic expression, ensuring that every project not only meets professional standards but also leaves a meaningful impression on audiences.

Tilted Content Slideshow

This slider plays with 3D perspective and performs some interesting animations on the right-hand side images.
CSS Animations

We are using 12 different animations for showing and hiding the items of a slide. The animations are defined by randomly adding data-attributes called data-effect-in and data-effect-out for every slide.
Tilted Items

The perspective view is achieved by adding a perspective value to the slide list item and tilting a division that contains the two screenshots.
Column or Row

The items in the tilted container are either laid out in a column or in a row. For some directions we need to adjust the animation delays for the items, since we don’t want the items to overlap each other when they move in or out.
Responsiveness

For smaller screens, the items on the right hand side will become less opaque and serve as decoration only. The focus will be on the description which will occupy all the width.
Navigation

For the “line” navigation we use a little trick to make the clickable area a bit bigger: we add a thick white border to the top and bottom of the span. Since the border is part of the element, it will be part of the clickable zone.
